The Homebuyer Homepage functionality of
the BuildTopia application allows buyer to access data about their house
via the web from the Builder’s webpage.

Admin > Projects > Project Setting> Homebuyer Homepage > Manage Company Contacts
Notes
The default list of all Your
Company Contacts is populated with all project participants.
Steps
- Select Manage Company Contacts link
- To add contacts, select the Unassociated tab then select the checkboxes to designate which individual(s)
you want to Include on Homebuyer's Contact
List. Those
checked will appear on the homebuyer homepage. Note: Any contact
designated as the primary contact will automatically be included on the
homebuyer's checklist. The
checkbox is marked automatically when Update is selected.
- To add a contact not included in the list,
select Add Company Contact link.
- Use text fields to enter required
and optional information.
- Select Save
to save contact information and return to the Unassociated Tab.
- Select contact from Unassociated Tab to also add the contact to the list of available contacts.
- Select the Update button

Create Checklist

Notes
Use to create a checklist the homebuyer
can reference through the sales and construction processes. The
user can create a checklist "from scratch" or can import an
existing checklist from another project.
Add Checklist Items
Use this to create a new checklist or add items to an existing or imported
checklist.
- Select Add
Checklist Item
- Use the text fields to enter Checklist Item and Category
- List Order.
This required field sets the sequence in which
checklist items will appear on the homebuyer's homepage screen.
- Category.
This optional
field groups one or more tasks under a common category. These
are builder-defined and may include such categories as Contract, Selections,
Financial, Settlement, and Inspections.
- Select Save
to add the item to the checklist.
- Repeat steps 1 through 3 for additional checklist
items.
- As appropriate, select the checkbox(es) to remove
one or more items from the checklist. Select
Save Info to remove the checked
items from the checklist.
Import an Existing Checklist
Use this when one or more projects have existing checklists. All
items from the existing checklist will import into the currently selected
project. Note:
The imported checklist will override any existing checklist items in the
current project.
- Select the Import
Checklist From Project link
- Select the radio button for the desired project
- Select Update
to process the import and return to the Checklist
screen.

Use this to set what the homebuyer will
view when logging on to their homebuyer homepage.
Steps
- In the Schedule
Permissions section, select the desired radio button.
- Complete
Schedule. This
default setting is a phase-plus-tasks view of the construction schedule.
- Phase. A
phase-only view of the construction schedule.
- Projected
Completion Date. The
construction projected completion date.
- None.
No view
of the schedule. Note:
As the default setting is the complete schedule, the user must select
this if they want no schedule offered as an option for individual homebuyer
homepages.
- For the ability to submit NSO (Non Standard Options) select either Allowed or Not Allowed
- Homebuyer
access to online Customer Service Request System select Allow to provide the ability for homebuyers
to submit service requests via individual homebuyer homepages.
- To display the Settlement Date to the homebuyer, select Yes.
- Select what version of the Sales Price to display; either Base & Lot Premium separately or Base & Lot Premium together . The second selection would combine the Base price and Lot premium into the Base Price line and not display the lot premium line at all.
- Select Save
to save any changes made to this screen.

Builder Website Integration

- Create a Homebuyer Homepage login page on your web
site. See
sample code here.
- The page needs to have username and password text
fields and include your BuildTopia company id, directed to "https://app.buildtopia.com/english_exec/blogin".
NOTE: If
you do not open a new browser window, the user will need to lower their
cookie settings to accept third party cookies.
